Retailer Application

The goal of this project was to understand the difficulties that retailers face and find a way to relieve their fatigue by creating a user-centered application that focuses on quick orders and predictive stock returns.

Management Interviews

One-on-one interviews with the CEO and COO were conducted to better understand the challenges that the retailers are now facing and their hopes for this application to address those difficulties.

Competitor Analysis

I spoke with shopkeepers to learn about the advantages and disadvantages of the current applications they use, and I made a site map of their preferred app to better visualize the process of taking orders and processing returns.

User Interviews

With a list of questions prepared in advance, in-depth user interviews were performed across Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai to discover the day-to-day issues or pain points of a retailer.

In order to construct a user persona and customer journey map, the challenges experienced by the retailers were mapped according to priority levels.

Pain Points

A mind map made on Coggle addressing the issues Kirana stores and supermarkets face in each area, including customer service, business operations, order taking, time management, and payment.

Wireframes

I was able to create the initial paper iteration of the wireframes for the retailer application with the help of my understanding of the needs of the retailers.

Wireframes

Following discussions with the technical team, high fidelity wireframes were converted to design screens using a style guide.
